Yeah, that's usually the way demos are released by the game industry.

They find some halfwit on youtube, get him to put a video up made with windows movie maker containing a link to rapidshare. It's gotta be real. I wonder if this will be the special "tell me your bank account details" version that was rumoured - then Chell withdraws £300 from your account in one of the puzzles. It's amazing, like you're really the character in the game.

The video linked is of Portal 1, and there's nothing even faintly 2 about it.

So, i was watching the video waiting for the barely convincing portal 2 beta gameplay footage to show up, but all i got was a bunch of normal portal 1 gameplay

If you're going to fake it i would expect it to atleast have some sort of custom map footage to make it seem more convincing...

Its not real, and what is worse the link is ringing alarm bells for anti-virus software.
