Custom Skins

Hello,

Ive installed a few custom skins (two weapon skins and Allies and Axix player models) and they arent working on servers. They work perfectly well when i create a server, not online.

Ive tried alot of servers and they still arent appearing. Is there something i havent done, or are custom skins not allowed on certain servers?

that's correct, if the server you are playing on has sv_pure enabled it won't show your custom skins. This is done so no one can get an unfair advantage using different skins or sounds.

Type sv_pure in your console when you join the server. If the console output says sv_pure 0, then the server is allowing all custom files. If it says sv_pure 1, it will be followed by the output of what they're allowing. And finally, if it says sv_pure 2, then the only files that are 'allowed' are your custom hud.
