which is better for my archer?

if she has higher strength, is the longbow or shortbow better? the crossbow looks more powerful but seems to fire slower and doesn't have a strength modifier. what should i use for an archer with a good amount of strength?

Crossbows are bugged, if I'm not mistaken, they're not affected by your dex attribute, only by str.

Actually, as of 1.03, they're not affected by either.

So far as I can tell, nothing.

1.03 broke quite a few things, and it didn't even fix the memory leak like the patch notes claimed it did.

also, how do i enchant a weapon? i have a few runes or whatever for +2 lightning damage and i don't know how to apply them to my sword.
