While I agree that not being able to back up sucks, all of the airports I can think of have a truck that you can use to dual hook and pull the jet back.

Agreed not being able to reverse is freaking annoying especially when the police come crashing into your pell silverbolt.

Speaking of which is its wheels stuck half in the ground for anyone else? It can move but it hurts the plane when I turn it and stuff on the ground.

Hmm, I wonder if you could teather a plane to a car/truck with your grapple and pull it back? I'm off to try it now... :)

yeah that areas annoying but you could always try hijacking a plane on the runway

Haha, I had the exact same thing happen there, though I didn't stick around as long as you, it was only a 4-plane pileup for me.
