Player wont load!

Hi Guys,

Been playing my M&B Warband character all week now, even played it for a good few hours today. Just tried to load it up after updating the game (although there was no update news) and it wont load at all. Every time i try i keep getting a message saying

"Load Error: Number of quests in file: 91, exceeds 90"

Is anyone else getting this? Any way to fix it?

I think they removed the singleplayer >_< I cant start a new game either, its greyed out.
Cant play multiplayer that well cause the lowest ping I get is 300 , I live in the Philippines yet I get high ping on Japan, Singapore, China servers >_<
I only get descent ping locally or some random asian server.

Yeah, I noticed the game updated before this happened in my game. It's a lot more stable now, and those annoying red script errors are gone so I'm not too annoyed at losing my level 14 character.

I'm still able to play singleplayer, maybe you should try a reinstall?

-Single Player still works fine.

-All saved games prior to patch will NOT work.

-You will have to start a new game. *They have added a cool beginner quest*

-This is a beta, so this shouldn't be a shock to anyone..

+ Dialogs are messed up after you finish the bandits' quest.

***Just found a massive, gamebreaking bug***

-After leveling (usually after the bandit quest), the game acts like you are creating a new character. (telling you to enter your name and distribute points).... This would be minor, however after you spend your points, a dialog pops up (from when you first created your character), asking you where you want to start out (Sargoth from boat, Caravan to Rhodok, etc)....

and there are NO options to choose!!! LOL. Had to ALT F4 out.

I fixed the Start New Game Greyed out issue:

I just deleted the Mount&Blade Savegame Folder in My Documents.
Guess you really should start a new game for the patch >_< . I don't mind though, its a fun game >_O

I liked the new approach in gameplay.
Before after setting up your character you immediately get sent to the map and have no clue where to go. But now you get introduced to the town you choose and gets like a linear quest at the beginning ^_^ Me likey

I wonder what Mount and Blade will look like on Unreal engine.
I would like decapitation and more blood on my Kills. Maybe on Mount and Blade 2 >_O

Lame, i didnt want to start again :( !!!

Had build up a nice little empire and was in the middle of the seige for my first city!

Guess it has an upside though, i hated the flag i picked, looked much cooler in the screen where you pick the flag, and i made my enemys as the new guys... but i wanted their archers!!

Although i dont really want to start again if it will just get deleted again ::mad:

I had plans on starting anew on the release the 31st. Slighty sad, though.

The sad thing is with some warning or notice we all could have exported our characters and reimported them into the new system with all stats and money.

Not a bug per se, they made the campaign better in a way the old game isn't playable anymore, and wont be.

Oh well its beta and one getting mad over there characters not working are out of luck the game is clearly marked as beta and is full of bugs and unfinished quests.

start a new game,after finishing beginer's quest and win a tournament,cant finish any quest related to village because everyone can only say "I'm preparing to leave, thanks for ur help ...etc"
