Double platinum! Was getting frustrating there...got down to the last few kills that I needed and suddenly couldn't kill anything lol, seems to be the way the world works...

LoL, nice responses guys. Got it on M24 and M416.

Now to find out which pistol may be an alternative to the 1911 post-nerf...unfortunately the REX just don't work well for me :(

No, 2 different weapons. I don't think you can get two on the same weapon, pretty sure it just tops out at 1 platinum, as it no longer says "kills to next" anywhere on the stats screen.

Am I wrong?

I honestly don't get why people complain about the CG. I have all guns in the game, but the only ones I see as unbalanced are M60 and 1911.

M60 is OP...no question about it.

The 1911 could probably be toned down a tad, but my honest opinion is that the problem with this is a combination of it being too powerful AND the other handguns being too weak, so I think the UP ones should be toned up, while it should be toned down -- slightly.

I have a platinum on armor vehicles.
I think the kill count should be higher on that, because i haven't played that much with vehicles.

On the other hand i have more than 600 kills with my rambo M60 and only 6x gold star.
