I guess you should send them an e-mail? I don't think anyone can help you on Steam forums. I'm pretty sure they will refund your lost money... :p

meh screw it, all caps is really annoying and not useful, if you already seen my response to the possible issue, great, if not, oh well. Just do what Maz suggested.

Not sure what you did wrong.
Have used Sony Station for years with no issues.
Purchased the EQ deal and as expected had to start a subscription to obtain the free 30-days (That is standard).
It is up to me to cancel the subscription before the end of the free 30-days.
Logging onto my Station account clearly shows I have credit for the free 30-days and as expected will be billed after the free 30-days.

Look at the price he got charged. 29.99. Its obvious that he did not select 1 month, and if he did he selected station pass which is not covered in the free month. Its his own fault for this charge and he should not be refunded for it. Also, considering it takes you to a screen to confirm the order, if a price is shown I sure as hell wouldn't hit confirm lol

Agreed.
Any of these kinda deals I read all the small print carefully before handing over my CC details.
But I even see people purchased the EQ deal without realizing if you use it on an existing EQ account, you lose the free 30-days.
It is amazing how many people make such common mistakes and then ♥♥♥♥♥ about it.

Just subscribe then goto your account options and unsubscribe, it doesn't charge you right away, it charges you AFTER the free month.

I just reactivated my account. There is nothing whatsoever related to EverQuest on offer for that price. Also, no combination of purchases totals to that amount. None of this user's past posts make much sense, and he almost never follows up. I think he is either a troll or just kind of crazy.

Yea sounds like he selected the Station Pass subscription, which is $30/mo.

Ouch, I forgot about that one. It's a pretty good deal if you own most of the games and none of them can hold your attention. But last I checked the only ones that don't have an initial purchase price are Free Realms, which is terrible beyond your imagination, and Planetside which afaik still has serious Vista problems.
Edit - OP, you need to email SOE customer support, and be nice about it. They likely will not refund the difference, but if you are cool about it they might be talked into applying that $30 towards either a 2nd and 3rd month of EQ1 or (less likely but I recommend you ask) unlocking EQ2 and Vanguard as purchases, perhaps one after the other so you can get 30 days from each. SOE CS has been more than fair to me about crediting and prorating time when I did odd things like buy games in the middle of a Station Pass billing cycle. I think they also refunded my Planetfall purchase with credit added toward the Station Pass subscription.

I think I know what you did .... Ill make a post about this btw. When an expansion comes out, it does come with a free month... for new accounts only.
Im guessing that when you registered you used an exsisting, or previously exsisting account...
