Console

First of all, I did search.

I want to enable the console, however, I cannot find the directory for the file I'm supposed to modify to enable it. If it matters any I'm using vista, and I'm guessing the directory that is said was for XP. If there's a launch option, I haven't seen one.

Any help?

Edit settings.txt in your Torchlight directory [C:\Users\yourname\AppData\Roaming\runic games\torchlight]. Change Console:0 to Console:1.

Edit settings.txt in your Torchlight directory [C:\Users\yourname\AppData\Roaming\runic games\torchlight]. Change Console:0 to Console:1.

That directory will be hidden by default (http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/using/helpandsupport/learnmore/tips/hiddenfiles.mspx).

Windows Button + R (or Start -> Run), then type %appdata% to go directly to your appdata folder.
