Becoming a Marshal

After much toil and hard work I have finally become a Marshal. The only perk I am seeing at the moment is that I can control all allied units on the field of battle.

However the problems include:
Lords not arriving when I ask them to assemble at a particular spot.
Lords stop following me after a short period of time.

Is there anything I am doing wrong? I have good relationships with most of the Lords in my Kingdom so that can't be it. :confused:

Any thoughts/suggestions would be appreciated.

Since its not yet out on Steam, your playing the beta version, could just be a bug when the final version hits today. Will be surprised if our saved games work from beta to final though.

The savegames dont work, I tried. It starts, then some dialogue stuff comes up and you can't skip it, it's like starting a new game comes on top your old game.
