View Full Version : More news on the DRM
If any of you still thinks this DRM is a good idea for ACII or any other game, here's the latest debacle (http://www.geek.com/articles/games/ubisofts-drm-issues-hit-australia-20100331/).

Fascinating.
If you think Steam DRM is a good idea and it has never ever suffered from similar problems, here's something that might interest you (http://forums.steampowered.com/forums/showthread.php?t=707847) - it's just an example, there hundreds of such threads.
Honestly, this is getting ridiculous, have you nothing better to do but create yet another DRM-related thread? Shall anyone think of it as your own personal crusade against Ubisoft?
Just FYI, the only Steam games I bought are only the ones that really need it. Otherwise I use other stores. But it's nice of you making invalid assumptions. And this may be the second or, at worst, third thread I created here. The rest are replies. Facts, you know.
Hostility and a condescending attitude aren't helping.
Also, try here (http://forums.steampowered.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=439) instead.

This isn't about AC2 even if it uses the same DRM.
But Australia always seems to have some internet problems. With like, bad companies and such providing with the internet.
For people in USA or Europe this is most likely not an issue at all.
This could ALSO been taken in one of the many many threads about DRM. But my opinion about it stays the same. I'm not bothered by it and if it stops pirates it works.
Ubisoft are actually trying to fix the problem too.
