I saw the weekend deal all day every day this weekend, knew what a great game Torchlight was, and figured that not that I stopped smoking I might as well spend my money on games, games, and more games.


So on Sunday I set up a paypal account, only to find out it takes a few days to activate, and then some for my money to get in there. Booo at me for not having a credit card that i can directly pay with.


This is me being sad.

For some reason this is a great game to come back to after you've been playing/or been busy with something else for a few months.

ah!! that sucks.. i knoe how you feel.. back when steam had its holiday sales.. i missed out on torchlight. but i was able to redeem my self this past weekend. i'm sure it will be for sale again soon.. but like ppl said this game is worth the original price

It sucks but the game was on sale for like 3 times during xmas and again for the weekend.....give it a month. Probably be on sale again soon.

I know how you feel man, I considered getting it at Christmas, but knowing nothing about the game, I opted not to, but then a month later I played the demo. Needless to say, I was slapping myself.

Then for the sale last week, my gaming comp wasn't working, so for some reason or other, I let it slip by me again.

Whether its on Sale for $5 or $10 the replayability & gameplay alone makes this game worth buying at full price. I tried the game out at a friends house when it was on sale for $5, but since I had such a great time with it I just waited for it to go back to $20 because I felt the developer deserved that much.

If I were you I'd just buy it at $20 & enjoy it like so many other people have.

Happens dude, i bought the game right before the sale xD i always have being idiotic about buying the game in the right time, i sometimes find it really painfull too, i think i bought wow TBC(World of warcraft:The burning crusade) back when it was released with no chars closed to 50 wich was alittle stupid as it didnt add anything new to the lower lvls... None the less i got a lvl 80 character today and i was anyway alittle happy to buy it becuase then i could grind up beyond lvl 60:D

Haha, I'm pretty sure it's worth the normal price (or even more!), too bad I can't really make myself pay much more. Can't get a normal job either, because of the irregularity and crazy amount of hours my university requires.

Guess I'll sit and wait, I've got the money on my PayPal account now, so hopefully something fun will drop by! I don't buy many games to begin with, shown by my steam account which just contains CSS and TF2.

Actually, you don't have to have money in your paypal account to buy things with it. It will take it directly out of your bank account, just like a credit card, if your paypal is empty. I actually bought Torchlight that way.
