Hello

Are there any plans to continue the patching of Empire? 1.7 and more...
I'm expecting to bring Empire at the level of Napoleon, at least because it is a different game and is important for us, the customers.
Or they will bring us the fully patched Empire Gold/Year edition, also for money? whici is good but not for our poket.. :)

I realy like this game alot.

Napoleon should have been DLC for ETW. However saying that, the multiplayer in NTW is far more enjoyable and probably the selling point, as ETW's selling point would be single player.

Anyways they better release 1.7, what I want in it is improved Siege battle dynamics, further AI improvements, maybe more maps for land, naval and siege battles. Thats all I'd want.

They should add some "capture region" "block port" "ravage countryside" random missions, available to all nations, to keep the game interesting...

1.6 was announced at the same time napoleon went into pre-order. I'd be surprised if there was a 1.7.

There has to be a 1.7, the multi player campaign is still in beta.

I highly doubt it will ever leave the beta phase ... too bad because I really want to play the campaign with a friend and still be able to use my DLC units ...

With most games, usually once another game (by same company) is released, the said game would then be forgotten. Another one on the shelf for them.

I absolutely love this game. IMHO, it's the best strategy game ever made (or at least designed). But I would play it so much more if it wasn't so buggy (Nvidia graphics issues). But as the screen draw goes haywire* in campaign mode every other turn and I have to continually save and load, it really kills the experience. I retreat to Medieval II or Civ IV or RoN or AoE III ... instead of playing the game I'd actually like to be playing: Empire Total War.

I'm still holding out hope that they'll do something about it other than to tell us to keep using drivers that are now over a year out of date.

*Either labels making ribbons around the screen(while nothing else redraws) or all buildings and characters disappearing.

So true. How many old game websites have you seen with sections that still say "coming soon" or "under construction"? They're like ghost towns. Considering how ETW is still CA's flagship game after Napoleon (it's original cost was higher and it's arguably more expansive), maybe there's a chance CA will do right by their customers and work with Nvidia to fix it. A little communication in the meantime would be nice.

It was advertised, that beta you play is a betatest for NTW. It will never exit beta in ETW. The current bugs we'll have to live with.

I doubt there will be a patch 1.7 no matter how much I want one. The new AI has so many holes... It's hyperactive and knowns any exact firing line making battle unimmersive when you see the enemy walk around just outside your firing range.
