Is this 50% deal worth it?

I played this for the 360 and i thought it was ok but it wasnt something i would play all the time.

Is borderlands any different for the PC?

It's the same thing, except hosting and joining are a real hassle.

The mp issues were fixed in a previous patch. I have no issues hosting or joining mp since the patch.
