I'm wondering about possible causes of this bug, as i have looked around various forums and cannot find a cause or fix.

What happens is, everytime I join a server I can play for a few minutes but then I always get "warning connection problem" in the top right hand corner and the game stops responding. In single player it is fine.

I can play all HL1 games such as day of defeat and CS 1.6 without problems.

I get the same problem in Half life 2: Deathmatch. I have made sure firewall is not blocking it and checked connectivity. I always get disconnected from the internet when using wired or wireless connection.

Here are my system specs according to steam: (if this helps)

I sometimes get a problem due to BT home hub where on steam games I have the connection problem and my internet is temporarily turned off, but then when I reconnect its fine. Although on CSS now, when I first join a server its fine, the subsequent times I get the problem.

I figured out its something to do with the wireless network.

If I plug in the ethernet cable it doesn't DC.
