When I first got garry's mod, it worked totally fine, no problems. But after awhile, it got slower and slower, and now when i start it up, I'm only able to join 1 server. Than I have to close garrys mod, and start the game again to play on another server. I've tried a lot of things like deleteing all of my addons, reinstalling the game, and the "dxlevel" things. If anyone can help me, please post on the thread as soon as the can!! Thanks

Garry's Mod worked fine when I first got it, even with the 1.69 type processor. I deleted all addons, and only thing I added since were my phx and wire.

Remember to clean up your registery and all the unused files. Also rearange your harddrives every once in a while. Run a virusscan too.

Try running a defrag on your comp. Should be under Accessories>System tools.

Yeah, I know. I'm supposed to get a gaming laptop for graduation.

I know it's not my graphics card, I just had a new one installed a month ago. Top of the line.
