Questions about Borderlands

I just bought Borderlands yesterday and I can tell you all I'm 100% satisfied so far - However I would love to get atleast some of my questions answered by experienced Borderlands users.

1) Can I play with my singleplayer charachter online? If so, does he have all the levels that he had in SP and is it like Campaign Co-Op or is everyone against eachother? Please explain.

2) If I already started a singleplayer campaign can my friend join me while I'm there and where will he start in the game?

3) Will there ever come other enviroments but the Wastelands?

4) What is the level cap?

5) How many hours will my singleplayer experience on average last?

6) If I create and play my charatcher up to level 10 on one computer, can I then play with him on another one and still have same amount of levels, items and etc.

2) he will start at the last saving point
u can play if u are different levels but some quests mite be ineligible for him to do depending how far ahead u are

6) yep u can, u will just have to copy the save game file over

but if u plan on playing the whole game together then its really good fun.

2. Yes
3. It is a post-apocalyptic game, so there are different environments, however they are similar.
4. 50, 61 with the DLC
5. Most people will consider the "entire game" to include the 2nd play-through. I would say 55-60 hours on average.
6. Yes, as long as you transfer your saved game.
