iSeries - Xplicit Removed

After multiple complaints from various teams team Xplicit had their PC's spot checked for any cheats or illegal commands.

After a quick search the admin managed to find an illegal command on two seperate players PC's. The offending players were fludie and choong, caught with the snd_restart command in their configs - and bound to keys. After much deliberation the admins have decided to remove team Xplicit from the tournament, meaning they will not recieve any prize money

the admin said that the command wasnt even used in the demos.

sounds a bit unfair to me, but technically against the rules, so.....

I 'used' that command too just the other day during a css LAN compo.

But I'm still happy it's finally considered a cheat.

i only use the snd_restart if my sound gets messed up (fire sounds in wcs servers get stuck on). But i have to ask why would that be considered a cheat?
Nvm i just found out lol wow i didn't know that was a problem good thing i don't bind it. Serves them right than wow glad i saw this post.
