So you make a Trader , He does his allocated amount of trade.
After that he takes Up Space.
What else are they good for after they trade?

Traders can:
-Open up new trade routes (which makes the trade avaliable at the port/marketplace). This consumes the traders used for it.
-Enact the trades between the port and your export office
-Run money over to bribe neutral sectors to take them over (not cost efficient at all)
-If any quest requires an amount of a certain resource, traders are the ones who run it over.
-Party like its 1999

yes, they can be used again. All they do is run your resource over to the port/marketplace, the run back with the resource you traded for. Keep in mind that while they are en route for a trade, they wont show up in your trader count at the top of the global trade screen (the one that you send expeditions for outposts with).

Ahh so they are a lot more useful then I thought they where.
So when they said a hawker carries one They meant one "Shipment" per trip. I first thought it meant they can only be used once and that's it
