Need some help

So I've been playing some AC2, and I've encountered a bit of an issue.

Basically, my specs are pretty solid, but when running the game, I dip down to 15 FPS or less. And then it skips.

Have a feeling it's the DRM being a piece of ♥♥♥♥.

Any suggestions?

Just more proof that anything that goes wrong is blamed on the DRM. Unless you're on a slow wifi connection the DRM should have no effect on your FPS. And if it did it would just disconnect you. How about listing your specs so we can see how solid they are.

Even on a slow wi-fi connection, the timeout is something like 30 seconds anyway.
