Zeds (not FP or Patty cakes) that were on fire dealt 25% or their damage as fire damage, and burnt and cripsy zeds took 10% more damage.... Would Firebugs be more viable?

you mean that a burning Zed hitting you would do additional 25% of his damage to the player and burned, crispy Zeds would then take 10% additional damage?

Sounds interesting, though 25% seems overpowered to me in contrast to the 10%additional dmg he takes when hes burned out and crispy.

pretty sure they already take extra damage if they are on fire

Thank you for making me imagine what a roasted and crispy clot would taste like.

A zed on fire would do 25% of his damage as fire damage, ie a hit for 10 damage would do 7.5 damage as normal and 2.5 as fire damage. Factor in the firebugs fire immunity and he gains less damage taken as he has to tank burning zeds :)

oh so you mean that a burning zed shouldnt do 100% physical dmg but 75%physical and 25%fire damage. Well sounds good for me since the firebug is kinda left for dead xD I mean not many ppl take him...

Sounds pretty useless to me, in all honesty.

The idea is cool, but everything except an FP or pat dies as soon as fire touches them, or at the most a second after.

Could make it only work on FPs and the pat, maybe just 10% for the pat. That way the firebug isn't as underpowered at the later waves, but will still have to deal with scrakes.
