Well I just bought this game and I'm wondering what classes or perks suit you most often?

"Use most often" usually is known after you've played through all or most of the classes and have a a general idea what each class is like and deciding on the one that you find most easiest to use and fun to play.

The easiest class to use when starting out is definitely going to be the Medic. The enhanced healing abilities, increased movement speed, and bolstered defensive armor greatly helps a new player get used to the game without getting kill too quickly.

Once you have the game mechanics down (ie: movement, weapons, types of enemies, doors, healing/welding), then it's the matter of selecting a class that sounds appealing to you and try it out. If you don't like it at first, don't hate it. Just switch to another class.

Once class that is very fun to play but a pain to level is the Commando class. Commandos gain not only the usual enhanced weapon damage on their weapons, but they also have an increase in reload speed of all weapons from every class, not limited to their own. They can see the stealthed enemies such as the Stalker and Patriarch boss, but also see lifebars of enemies starting at level 1 (distance increases as you level up).

This is only the tip of what each class has to offer, so all you need to do is start up the game and blast away!

To answer your question literally though, I use the Sharpshooter and Commando class most often because I absolutely enjoy spamming (accurately) dual Pistols/Handcannons and rifles shells at everything.

My answer: never settle :)

I play all the classes for diversity, gameplay-,fun- and teamwise. I like to swap alot in between rounds :)
The only class I find a little lacking is the firebug. On the plus-side, it works well except soloing the bigger zeds, and you'll often be the only one on your team. On the downside, many of the classes do the same job as well as bigger zeds easier, and you can only mix your flamethrower with a handcannon or two for multiperk leveling (demoman can mix pretty much anything, splosives weigh nothing)
