View Full Version : What to do after finishing the game

So I beat the game today after playing 20+ hours over the past two days, and I loved the game. However, now that I've beat it, I'm kind of at a loss as to what I should do. I don't have any quests and I don't know where to get more, and I don't know of any good underground areas or buildings that I haven't already explored once or twice. What else is there to do? Just farm artifacts?

Which game? I'm guessing Call of Pripyat, since it's the only Stalker game that allows you to play after finishing without a mod.
Well, you could buy Shadow of Chernobyl and Clear Sky, if you haven't played those yet. Shadow of Chernobyl is faaaarrrr more expansive than CoP and will give you well more than 20 hours of play.

Unfortunately there aren't a whole lot of great mods for CoP yet, but that will come soon enough. You could replay with the Shadow of Pripyat or SMRTR Pripyat mods, but in vanilla CoP there really doesn't seem to be much to do after finishing.

You could always go out and try to kill everyone, I guess. ;)

Yeah, I plan on getting SoC and the Complete 2009 mod soon and playing through it. Call of Pripyat is indeed the one I just beat, and while 20+ hours is a good chunk of time for a SP game, I wouldn't mind another 20 (or 40...or 60) on top of that.

Hopefully someone else with more CoP knowledge will come along and maybe offer you some advice. The best I can say is either replay it or play it with a mod. I do know there are things you can do to get in factions, and more stuff to do in the game than is readily apparent, but I'm not any kind of CoP expert. I liked the game alot, but I'm more into Shadow of Chernobyl and Clear Sky.

But those are the best SoC mods, IMO.
