Hello!

I would like to know what the consequences of a high encumbrance are??

Is it slowing down the movement speed? And if so: Does it have any effect if you are mounted? Does it slow down the attack speed?

It slows down your movement speed. Far as i know, it doesnt affect attack speed. Not sure about effects whilst mounted. I think it might not affect you then.

Slows down your movement. Has no effect on attack speed. If mounted, you move at the speed of the horse/Riding, so no effect here either (some would say it's not fair, but that's how it is now).

Yeah, now i remember. I think there were a couple of mods for M&B that actually changed your mounted speed, according to your weight. Some also had it have an effect on your weapon skills and thus your attack speed.

Also a heavier backback slows down your party a lot. Stuff like iron and whool.

I have also noticed that with high encumbrance my arrow shot reticule becomes larger, doesnt close on the target so easily (with close to 200 proficiency).

What I'd love to know is the ratio from the athletics skill to the total encumbrance. Would be lovelly so I know I'm not spending too much points on it.

I've also noticed the larget target riticule with a bow. I'd like to know if athletics or bow skill or any skill can shrink this larger area down.

if its on a horse: the faster u ride without horse archery the larger the reticule

if u ride slow with 1-2horse archery its alright
if u ride fast as hell with 10 horse archery its alright
if u ride slow as hell with 10 horse archery its going to be even better...

Yes I've noticed the mounted penelty but I was getting a degraded accuracy effect on foot after equiping heavy armor. My first char did alot of horse archery but I deleted it after level 9 or so and I never got near the level 10 skill.

Is it the helment? Historically archers don't wear very substantial head protection maybe some leather but I've not heard of much more then that. Is there a penetly for wearing a heavy helment or is it the total net result of encumberance? (on foot I mean)
