Issues loading

Hello,
I have recently gotten an ATI card and cannot get CSSource to load without it giving me a complete white screen on the option page. I have tried deleting CSsource and reinstalling but, this has not helped. Does anyone have any idea why this is occuring?

My system-4 gigs mushkin ram
AMD Phenom II x4 945 3 ghz processor
ATI Diamond Radeon 5770
ASUS M4A49T Deluxe for motherboard
Vista 32 bit for an OS

It is a decent system and can handle anything I throw at it graphically. Dont know why this is happening and any help would be appreciated.


I have tried the novid in prelaunch options as well as the -dxlevel approach. I have tried looking up the issue in other games and tried their solutions with no fix. Is this a driver issue?

It could be a driver problem. It would be a good thing to try and update your graphics drivers.

Do you mean you see a white screen if you click the options button, or just a white screen altogether?

I mean that when I load the game the screen is completely white so I cannot select any options such as my video options, keyboard settings, sound options. The first screen you see for css is just completely white. I can see my mouse, hear the sounds when you scroll over the options for the game but, you cannot see anything because it is all white.
