Any gore mods?

Are there any gore mods for HL2? when it first came out i used Half-Life 2:Substance. There was another mod called Redux 2.0 but the site is down and i can't find the download.

Anyone know of any really good gore mods? :)

Looks like you might have to program the gibs, you'll need modellers for the help, and look at the zombie code, and try to find where he spilts in half and use it as a reference, or if you can't program start a team and ask for help.

Yes, there is a very nice gore mod.
It also adds several extra features, enemies, and weapons, and basically just adds on to the HL2 Maps and storyline.

Smod has nice bullet time effects mixed with gore and high blood spatter. Much has changed since the last I played [looking at changelogs]

I think tactical is okay as a mod, but it replaces too many features and characters, and in my opinion, is a lot more than just a gore mod. It goes for a realistic approach with real weapons etc...

If you just want hl2 + gore + weapons + features, then good ol' smod is for you.

smod tactical loads really slow even on good pcs so i recomend the origonal smod

Yea, i got a mammoth rig i just built and it took forever to load SMOD Tactical.

yeah and the worst thing is death comes about every 5 seconds in it (for me at least) meaning more loading
