CS Resolution Prob. Black Bars

I recently bought an ASUS G72Gx and I've been playing CS in widescreen 1600x900 resolution but I want to play in 800x600, when I put it, I get those black bars on the side. I put in the launch commands like some guys on another support forum told me, nothing, I changed the flat panel scaling (in the NVIDIA CP) -didn't let me change it, it just went back to the "use my display's built-in scaling".

Is there any way that I can play in 800x600 without those black bars on the sides?

It will be greatly appreciated.

Fixed. All I did was install the CEVO GUI 3.0 (don't mean to give promo) and it's all good now, I can choose resolutions from "normal" (640, 800, etc.) and it doesn't have black bars to the side :)
