There are tracks for every map, as well as the amazing title screen music.

Confirm with Fatshark that it is indeed okay to RIP the music from the game, which I would suspect is not.

The music is very western:) what about releasing the music in a patch in the form of MP3s....

Beware that if you ripp and post any content from a (c)opyrited game on steam, you can loose your steam account, and face criminal charges.

The Official Moderator on the LnG forum is already threatening someone for ripping music.

Fatshark, is not commenting on it. I think they do not want to be viewed as "bad guys" who sue the fans.

I have had people ripp content from my games, and re-distribute the content illegally. (Which is really stupid, I use GPL for my sourcecode, and Creative Commons for the artwork+Music.)
It really did not disturb me that the content was being circulated. it just bugged me that people would go out of their way to break the law, and to use my artwork and music without my permission. They could have just followed the CC and GPL rules and used the content almost any way they wanted. The music was licensed so that it could be re-mastered, and it could also be used for commercial products.

I am not going to play like I know Fatshark's feelings on this subject, nor am i going to pull the "omg! the police are going to come and get you" game, like certain non-Fatshark authority figures seem to do at will.
If you guys think it is wrong, then it probably is.

I for one would love to see the LnG music released as Creative Commons Attribute licence. That way LnG could get some free publicity. And fans of the game could re-mix it, and use as background music for their fan videos, and fan made games.

Well in all fairness I'd happily front money for the soundtrack. It's well composed and great for the theme of gameplay.

Haha, that moderator threatens everyone. He even warned me when I posted a link to a website where you can buy the game £2 cheaper.
Don't take him seriously. He'll grow up eventually.

As for in-game music, you're free to use it as long as you have the game. People watching youtube videos can listen to it for free, when you're playing you can listen to it for free. Hell, most games store the music files as simple mp3s for your convenience :)
