FOR A 2D GAME! how is that possible? also what kind of card does this game need? and what is it with 2D games having stupid high requirements these days, as i have a 1.46ghz dual core 2gb RAM and an intel x3100 graphics chip and dont know if it'll run?

The game probably isn't made for a tile-based sprite engine, which was what made it possible to run these 2d games on low tech back in the days.

This is the reason it didn't come out 25 years ago.
The NES couldn't handle it.

That, and the fact that it didn't exist back then.

It actually did exist back then, Caapcom just never released it because none of the current systems could do the game justice.
