Two days ago I bougth Logitech Cordless Rumblepad 2 and when I connected it on my pc and run Dirt2 there is't Rumblepad 2 to choose as default game controller, there is only keyboard.
I checked new 1.1 patch and there is Cordless Rumblepad 2 support but i think my game is still v1.0 not v1.1. I checked this directory: C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\dirt 2 and found readme.html, inside this file is only 1.0 version info and there is't Logitech Cordless Rumblepad 2 support why I think that I have 1.0 version and game can't find my new gamepad
How I can manualy update game? or anyone have any idea?
Thanks

I suggest trying the following:
In the Steam Games list, right click on DiRT 2 and select Properties. In the new window that appears, click the Updates tab and ensure that it's set to "Always keep this game up to date". If it's already set like that, go to the Local Files tab and click "Verify integrity of game cache".

Nothing good
WildCat_ZA if you have this game can you check this directory: C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\dirt 2 open readme.html and look inside which version game you have.

The title says: "DiRT 2™ README (version 1.0, updated 2009-10-23)", so it looks like the patch doesn't include an updated readme file. I've got a corded Rumblepad 2 and it works in DiRT 2 after the update (http://store.steampowered.com/news/3535/).

I didn't install any Logitech drivers. I just plugged it in and it worked. I'm using Windows 7 Professional 64-bit.

I have no problems with my Rumblepad Cordless 2 in Dirt2. I installed the drivers and used the in-game settings to configure my gamepad. But I still have to use the keyboard to browse the menus. It wold be cool don't have to use the keyboard at all. Tonight I'll try this: http://rumblepad2.blogspot.com/search/label/Codemasters
Wish me luck! :D
