Torchlight Error and Crash

Hello.

I have been recently been playing the demo for Torchlight. So I decided to buy the game for myself. Then, I launched Torchlight. Things seemed okay, until twenty minutes later:

Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library
Runtime Error!
Program: C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps/common/Torchlight\Torchlight.exe

This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way. Please contact the application's support team for more information.

Solutions I have tried, but failed:

1. Re-installing Torchlight
2. Re-installing Microsoft C++ Runtime Library

Note: This has not happened with the demo version.

If anyone has had any problems simular to this and has solved them, please post.

Tried restarting Steam? It helped me.

I have, but the error still appears. I am imagining the devs are working on it, but sometimes I don't imagine they are. Strange how so many other people have this problem as well.

There are two Microsoft C++ theres the 95 and 2008 one as well.
All i can think of is have you got them both installed?

I am not sure about that. But I do know my system has the requirements needed. I think it is just a bug in the system.

Known problem, no solution as of yet, though suggestions have been made. Dev seems uninterested, even though there's a large group of people out there that can't play the game.

If don't have any solution yet, the only way is sit and wait for fix updates... *sighs*
