No server history...

For whatever reason I can get all internet servers (over 2000), and save servers to favorites, but for whatever reason servers previously played on don't get saved to my history tab. The filters I am using have nothing to do with it, I have turned all of them off and changed them to my own settings so I know thats not it, I just can't find a solution to this problem. Any help would be great, thanks.

Really, I don't know peoples who played in cs 1.6 and have not same problem. :rolleyes:

Every once in a while i cant save favorites but either a quick defrag of the cs files or reinstalling the game should help. But the history tab doesnt work for me either. Im sure that happens to almost everyone.

it happens to me too, its my number 1 issue for counter strike atm

also when i choose my char gign sas ,ex. i cant see the pictures anymore only numbers for me to choose

I believe this has been an ongoing problem for years. CS 1.6 Server browser is somewhat faulty.

Valve, dedicate someone on your staff to fix this already, it's EMBARRASSING. I don't give a damn about screenshots and other useless junk you're updating constantly. I, and many others, would like our CURRENT features that were there previously to WORK. This not only goes for the server browser history in CS 1.6, but in Steam server browser as well.
If you can't fix the feature that's been here basically from the beginning and which is pretty important, what's the point of piling on new features only few actually use? You're just gonna mess them up too. :mad:

...and not to mention, due to what is actually causing the problem ( http://forums.steampowered.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1615179 ), it should be a fairly easy thing to fix!

P.S. The problem affects all GoldSource based games (and maybe others as well, but I'm not familiar with those).
