I'm looking for a good hack slasher.
Is there any mods or add -ons that would enhance it?

If you are looking for a Hack'n slash game. Torchlight is the right choice.
I recommend to try the demo, you can play the first 10 levels if I am correct. After that you can buy the full game and continue there.
There is couple of nice addons for torchlight, but nothing that you "must have to play it". Some minor tweaks etc.
I recommend torchlight :)

First 7 levels (and fame, I think), and you cannot go deeper than 4 floors into the main dungeon, though you can open as many map scrolls as you want, I believe.

Yeah, basically enough that you can't stop playing it :P

You won't regret buying Torchlight. It's a pretty little thing that manages to capture the endless replayability of games like Nethack, but then without the headaches and keys and turns and black and white unix consoles.
It has that perfect coffee-break playability of 'just one more level, and then I can go gamble for that Ultimate Sword of Glistening Mohawks and Dragon Slaying'... beware of its time-warping properties as it sucks your life into its corridors.
On another bight note.
It's has an editor as well so that makes it a double bonus tbh.
It really is a good game.there are one or two things i would like to change within the game, but there not biggies that can kill the playability of it.

The single one best thing Torchlight has is its high 'moddability'.
To easy? Get a mod to make it harder.
Get to max level too soon? Get a mod to raise the cap.
Run out of new item drops? Get a mod that adds more.
Bored with professions? Get another mod that adds more!
The price/fun ratio makes it worth it.
Of course it's not the best game ever, but for that price, you'll get quite a lot of hours of fun skull bashing.

I believe you can play the demo for 2 hours? I thought I heard or read that somewhere.
Anyways, definitely worth the $20 you pay for it.
A mod I recommend is one of the respec mods. There is no respec function in the game, so if you put point(s) into something you later do not want, you have to life with it.
Also, download TorchLeech. You can download all the mods it supports with a click of a button.

its a shame you didnt think bout buying it back when it was 75% off..5$ for this game is a steal..even though its worth 20$+ in my opinion..definetly worth buying! 10/10

I'll second all the yea Torchlight posts here. There are a good number of gameplay affecting mods, and Torchleech is a great tool to keep track of mods installed in your game.

I may interest you in Titan Quest, which is IMO better hack'n'slash game, although Torchlight is close second for me. Both games are very well worth their price.

I would revers the rolls myself tbh.I found Torchlight slightly better, but both are great games anyway.

If I were you I'd wait till it's on sale again, which is definitely going to happen again. Torchlight is seriously the game that has been the most on sale. At least that's my perspective on it. I paid $5 bucks have put in almost over 40 hours of game time. And I'm not even close to being done playing the game as a whole. Between playing multiple classes and playing all the variety of mods that are out there, there's almost no end to this game.
It can get boring, but modding it helps take care of the boredom the original may bring.

This is definitely the way to go, while it is definitely worth full price+, buying it 75%, or even 50% off is a steal. When it's on sale again, DO NOT LET IT SLIP AWAY!
