Hello,

As of last night, my Killing Floor game has been working fine. Today, though I get this error:

Build UT2004_Build_[2004-11-11_10.48]

OS: Windows NT 6.0 (Build: 6002)
CPU: GenuineIntel PentiumPro-class processor @ 1996 MHz with 4057MB RAM
Video: Mobile Intel(R) 4 Series Express Chipset Family (1576)

Failed to enter halo: Can't find file 'halo'

History: UGameEngine::Init <- InitEngine <- FMallocWindows::Free <- FMallocWindows::Free

I have tried rebooting pc, uninstalling and reinstalling the game, reinstalling the Steam client as well. I've also tried verifying the game cache, but it shows that nothing seems to be wrong. Nothing is working. I have no clue what else might be wrong but nothing I'm doing seems to be fixing this.

So, after doing all of this, can anyone give me an idea as to what I can do to get my game working again? Thanks in advance :)

Delete your KillingFloor.ini. This file is not removed or modified when un/reinstalling the game.

If that doesn't work, right click on the game in Steam, click Properties, and click on Set Launch Options, and make sure that nothing is in that box. If there is something (say "halo"), delete it and click OK, and then try the game again.
