new xbox 360 controller = lost save games?

Hi Every1,

I finished about 45% of the game, and then I bought the xbox 360 wireless controller. I am running Win 7 btw.

If I plug my controller in, windows live logs me in automatically as before, but for some reason I get a message saying that I am not logged into my profile and I have to start the game from the beginning.

If I unplug the controller, I get my savegames back.

Any suggestions?

I would shoot an e-mail to GFWL, cause the issue seems to be on their end and not steams.

Hi.. I had the same problem, I had my xbox controller in a USB hub connected to my monitor, and everytime my moniter went into stanby the controller turned off..

When it came back on the controller would swhich from controller 1 to controller 2 (The green xbox light would change from 1 to 2)

Thats when it would happen, it wouldnt load the profile.. I also noticed that if i accidently pressed the button to 2 the same would happen.

Restarting the computer fixed the problem, and not useing the hub or pressing the Xbox button.
