I have played it for years :) Best Campaigns I have played is Shadows of Yog-Sothoth and Masks of Nyarlathotep, and best collection of One Nighter scenarios is Mansions of Madness.

Last time I played I spent the whole evening knocked out from a Migo attack, lucky really because the rest of our group went insane after my bro summoned ithaqua.

LOL, good story :) I once went temporarily insane with paranoia and tried to shoot my buddies through a door :D

Haven't played the tabletop, but I've read the stories and I own the "Arkham Horror" board game. If Call of Cthulhu tabletop any good?

Well, there are a number of tabletop RPGs. The original by Chaosium, in its 6th edition IIRC, is considered one of the best rpgs of all time. There was a D20 variant published a few years ago which si better than I expected but I would still pass.

My personal favourite is Trail of Cthulhu, a merging of the original and the gumshoe system, designed to run detective games.

I'm a fan of AH as well, but nothing compares to CoC for horror gaming.

Much much better but then again tabletop beats out video games. First campaign I ever played was Mask and I didn't die, it made me very happy haha.

I'm still sad that Delta Green game never got made (but the guys who did DG later went on to make Prototype - stewards anyone?)
