X-fi Crack Sound !!

sorry for my english ( i'm from belgium , french languages)
Since patch 1.1.1 i have crack sound with my X-fi forte pci-e ( auzentech)

I have latest driver (x-fi forte 1.1) and last openal 2.1.0.0

When i use laser weapons with very zombie , my sound crack :s


before 1.1.1 i have not crack !!!!

i tested alchemy , it's same :(

it's possibility not use openal with the game , just dsound ?

It is not possible to not use OpenAL in Zombie Driver.
Does it only happen when you use railgun?

yes with this weapons , or when i have very very very zombie in screen (multiple sound)...

I tested other drivers , 24bits/96khz and 16bits/44.1khz , again crack :s maybe it's because i have 7.1 system ( i don't test with headphones)

before patch i have not crack :(

Update :
I tested in 2.1 settings ( no 7.1) and NO CRACK !!

The game bug with 7.1 settings in my x-fi since patch 1.1.1

It is good to hear that it works now.
We have tested Zombie Driver on 2.0, 2.1 and 5.1 configurations.

i upgraded to windows 7, and the cracking went away. Must be crappy old drivers causing this.

I retest now in 7.1 ==> crack :(

My drivers is last in auzentech site ==> x-fi forte 1.1

my os is 7 X64...

any ideas ?

In all my games ( with game open al , prey , bioshock , grid) worked perfectly in 7.1

I found My bug Ferdyzor!!!

In resume :
head: No crack
2.1: No crack
4.1: Crack
5.1: Crack
7.1: Crack

Setting in panel x-fi
Svm : on
Cmss-3d = Mix on , surround mode
Crystalizer : on , 100% ==> when i selecte OFF (0%) X-fi CRystalizer no crack (4.1,5.1,7.1)

New drivers forte 1.2 RC ( final in 30th june) NOT resolved this bug...


And you ferbyzor , update coming soon ?
for bug or for new content :D ?
