Mine has stuffed up too. I can race the first race of career mode and then it wont let me buy any cars as there are no slots available. My previous account is there but all my cars are gone and there is no singleplayer/single race.

Getting sick and tired of Steam games doing this. We have a large account and are not impressed one bit. Fix the bloody problems STEAM owners. You took our money now fix the games. Or is it a civil lawsuit time???

Game cache verified, game reinstalled.....nothing. PATHETIC quality control STEAM.

actually a few games had to reinstall PhysX drivers for some reason before they started again after installing the new Steam Client, I should note that I am using Steam Assistance too (actually they all start fine now) but if I remember they started from the game shortcuts that Steam Assistance makes in the Games Explorer easier than they did from the actual Steam Client. If you are using an nvidia card, disable physx. Shift was not coded nor designed for this function. If that doesn't solve your problem, sorry. The NFS series has ALWAYS had coding issues. Most Wanted, for example, crashed if you used a usb keyboard, lol.

I've used a USB keyboard for years, and I can't recall NFS:MW crashing on me once because of it.

I'm happy for you, but it is still a fact that it was badly coded and the usb issue along with controller configs, FF, AA bugs to name but a few, were a widespread issue for many until patched.
