MLB 2k10 slow to update scores for real time games

the title says it all. Just wondering if there is anyone else experiencing the same thing.

I was playing MLB 2k10 and watching a live dodger game. The real game was in the 9th and the score was for the 5th. Sure this is really really nit picky but I would love to see faster updates.

How do you create a registration for this game and what is the cd key? Is it the one from steam? I am very frustrated by the game with the logitech pad and nothing seems to be working. If I could I would get my money back.
