i ended up buying it, and i just leave it on in the background. So it's a sort of quasi-dedicated server. my steam usage numbers will probably look insane though

I've played the game for about an hour and its certainly an acquired taste. I original bought the game cause it reminded me of Soldat, except much better looking, I have a feeling that's what a lot of people did. People with this kind of expectation will most likely feel that the game feels odd and I am one of those. However after I started my own server with 5 bots and played for a bit it was getting alright. A few randoms joined and it was decent fun. There are a few aspects that really need modification, however overall its a good game.

here's a few of thing things that I think need changing:

removal of chat from the kill list
I tried talking to the random's but nobody responded. I think this was because the chat text wasn't distinct enough and they didn't notice that I was attempting communication
Rocket nurf
Compared to over weapons, it easily pwns any body not using it. Considering that the only way you can doge in this game is by moving up or down and neither of those can be done quickly. Something needs to be done to increase the odds of survival
Mini gun modification
This isn't really necessary, but maybe if the mini gun could keep firing while falling. When of the maps feature small platforms and to keep your target in view you generally have to move off these. Maybe prevent jumping and jet packing while the gun is firing but all people to fall while still firing


Overall I can see this being a really fun game. Although many people seem to agree that it doesn't feel like a complete game, the way to get this changed is not to bash the developer.

I think the minigun is fine except for the traps that make it spin down instantly like falling and hitting fire before touching the ground, resets your spin to zero AFAIK, if you release the button while you fall and immediately press it again when landed you can continue firing pretty quickly. Would also be nice if holding the fire button with the thing while in the air would make it start spinning up the moment you touch down instead of merely giving you an error message and expecting you to release, then press the button again.

1: Why should the kill message from chat be removed? i dont not see a point in that, but its true also, but not completley remove it, but add somewhere else maybe.

2: Rocket is SLOW, but really powerful, i can see balanced weapon right there. If you cant dodge them, its ur problem if u think they r to OP.

3: Why would such an Strong weapon be able to fire when ur falling in the air? I dont see a point in changing that 1 either, just find a good spot to stand on and fire away!

4: This is (almost) an exact copy of Soldat, but better graphics and still awesome. Its like with the Serious Sam Series. Redoing the game but with more awesomeness and same content.

thats my aspect of the game. Simply put: Awesome and cheap!

It's an awesome game. Needs some fixes and upgrades but I believe it will get into good shape in the next patches!

minigun is overpowered As it is and kills in 1 shot and shoots 100 bullets per second

I don't know about that. Yes, it's powerful, but it's also rather slow and quite visible.

Now the sniper rifle, on the other hand, has a fast and barely noticeable projectile. Though it doesn't have splash damage, it can be more deadly in certain situations because of this.

Frankly, I think the minigun, the rocket, and (maybe) the sniper rifle all need slight nerfs, and the shotgun and assault rifle need MAJOR buffs. The shotgun and assault rifle are absurdly weak compared to the other weapons, which are all one shot one kill.

I really think this game has great potential, and I do not regret purchasing it at all. At least, not yet ;)

I think it's a good idea to sell BT in the clan pack, and i certainly agree with the need for dedicated servers and a few tweaks.

All in all, I'm glad to back an indie game, and I'm excited for future updates!!

Lol have you guys even touched the shotgun?

If anything's overpowered, that thing is.
