I opted to wait for the PC version instead of getting it on console. Is it worth buying on PC or is it more trouble than its worth?

Well it all depends, on whether you can be bothered with the hassle :P graphics will surely be better providing you have a high end pc. Its just the annoying fact that you have to be online 100% of the time if you want to play the game :(

It's actually pretty good gamewise. So far I'm not feeling too bad about it.

I was a bit miffed about the $60 pricetag, but my loyalty to the Splinter Cell series overruled my urge to wait.

It's pretty good so far, except for the random in-game crashes. I have a top-notch system and graphics card, but I'm not the only person these are happening to. Only twice so far, and I've been playing a good hour.

Gameplay is uniquely different than previous games, but fun is not sacrificed. IMO, I think they dumbed it down a tad, but it's still enjoyable and extremely fast-paced. They should have called this game "The Bourne Conviction" :P

It's worth it in my opinion. If you're a fan, buy it!

Same here, I expected dumbed-down rubbish but so far the game is really awesome and you HAVE to be tactical and stealthy or you die quickly... this is on realistic mode though, not sure about normal.

was just wondering if theres any benefit to getting it on pc in its current state or would I be better off buying it cheaper on console?

i never played a SC game before and I disliked the demo I played. I disliked the demo for Bayonetta too but I enjoyed that game so .. I am just gonna wait awhile and hopefully snag a deal off of steam at some point.

Just the standard mouse aim and graphics improvements... not sure how the console version looks, but the PC version has a lot of graphical options and looks rather nice.

Still, nothing amazing or beyond most console ports.

If its cheaper on console, go for it. The PC version is just a console port.

From what I saw at GDC/E3, I expected it to be pretty bad off, but they did well with making things streamlined and much more natural without removing the need for caution.

It's on a modified UE2.5, and it looks impressive considering, however "High" versus "Medium" is no big deal.

Same price for the "main" version, Not sure how much the deluxe edition is for the 360.

Running perfectly smooth for me, haven't had a single crash and I've been playing for about 4 hours straight. Fun as hell, and my internet connection is stable and connected 24/7 so the concept of having to be online all the time isn't one that even crosses my mind. This game rocks!
