Hello guys,

I bought the game during the sale earlier today. Works perfectly on my rig, on Win7-64.
But I have a little problem.

I'm using the Xbox 360 wired controller to play, and it works perfectly but for one thing : direction input. If I push the left joystick all the way up, left, right or down, the character only walks. I have to move him diagonally in order to run, or to hold down the run button which is not exactly convenient since its a "sprint" button.

My controller works perfectly fine with other games like Batman AA or The Last Remnant. Tried to re-caliber it too, no dice.

Any idea ?

Thanks in advance.

Works fine with the wireless controller. Perhaps this is a good reason to upgrade. I'm using the same os.

I have a 360 controller (wired) made by Joytech, works fine.

I have a wired xbox360 pad and i don't have this problem.

Blondie - when people talk about a 360 pad then usually mean a microsoft one, not a third party random pad

Perhaps a different controller (such as a logitech), or some other unnecessary USB device that's plugged in at the time could possibly be causing conflicts? Try unplugging extra devices you don't need before running the game and then see if that helps.

Had the same problem with the one of my wired xbox360 controllers, but works fine with a different wired xbox360 controller which is strange (both are microsoft brand). (And also works fine with the wireless 360 controller). It seems that some of the wired controllers are calibrated slightly differently and don't reach the top of the directional limit when pushing the joystick up.

You can test the directional input of the controller by going to Start, then type joy.cpl and hit enter. Then select properties on the controller tab and see if the crosshair goes all the way to the top when pushing the joystick up. For my wired controller that had the issue, the crosshairs go near the top but not all the way up. Going to return it for a replacement, wouldn't have noticed it was a problem if it wasn't for this game.
