Sever stuck at parsing

when i try to join a server, it always get stuck at parsing game data anyone having this problem?

Ye I have the problem as well and I have tried various fixes posted on the net but to no success. I'm guessing there may be a Steam content server down or something. Who knows. Oh well, time to grumble back to some physics homework :(

It was a steam update. I was playing fine then jumped out to do something then when I came back steam was updating DoD:S. Haven't played since then. Roughly 5:30 CST....:(

yep same here - DoD:S will not run :(

Same here. I'm also noticing the servers are mostly dead or those that were on the servers have dropped off and can't rejoin. Its certainly not a client side problem. I hate when Valve updates, they never get it right the first umpteen times.

thought i found a russian server where i can play...
(only 1 server others stop at parsing...)

tf2 works normally as much as i see...

when can we expect this to be fixed?

i have same problem the loading screen gets 3 bars and sits not doing anything.. valve is fu kd atm dod and css both have there balls in a sling
