A walking bakwards game??

newly bought Serious sam HD from steam, and after 3 min of gameplay, i can only walk bakwards, and after 5 min, i can only walk bakwards and left. what kind of bugg is this and how do i fix it? wanna play my game or someone is gonna get a real pain in the ♥♥♥!

Thank you for you non endorsement of the Steam. Really your having a problem and it's automatically Steams fault. This game runs fine for me and most others. Thats means the problem is at your end somewhere. You have corrupted files most likely or some other issues with your rig. If your other games run fine then verify your game cache fore SE restart Steam and see if that fixes the problem.

Posting legit problems such as the backwards movement only thing is fine but then turning around in the same breath and dissing Steam isn't going to get you much help it just makes you look foolish.

Verify game cache, make sure your drivers are up to date including the OS and DX. Make sure nothing wrong with your keyboard if this is happening to any other of your games.

i verified my game chache, restarted steam, and it dident work, do you think it would work if i reinstalled it??

Well it certainly can't hurt to reinstall but damn I hate for you to have to download again. I was hoping someone else would post with a similar problem that had managed to fix it. Considering you can't play currently and all the time you have been waiting it might be better to reinstall it and hope that that fixes it. At least God forbid if doesn't work after re-installation we will have that bit of data to work with.

Q: I have a problem with my controls. They get messed up (something like this (http://forums.steampowered.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1211449)).
A: The problem is in F-Secure's DeepGuard. Here's what you need to do (thanks Biff Johnston!):

- Open F-Secure
- Go to Settings.
- Go to Computer, and select DeepGuard
- Uncheck the ''Use advanced process monitoring' option
- Click 'OK'.

Additionally, you will probably want to set F-Secure to turn off DeepGuard for SS HD specifically so you don't have to do it manually every time.

Its from the FAQ posted in this section, its to do with some application causing faults when both are active.

Trust me, its not a steam issue, if it were, then steam wouldn't be still a popular application.
