no character voice

im trying lot of audio codec pack for the voice character in game work.

I havent no sound when asking for docking or any other contextual option... So please if someone got a solution i ll glad him

Player character has no voice.

the voices should be heared when trying to dock or when looking up information about a specific item/ship.

Make sure the voice options are on in the settings menu

Otherwise try updating your sound card drivers.


I remember having this issue once, i fixed it back then by installing a codec pack with ffdshow, but i dont know if that still applies now.

Could you please post a DirectX Diagnostic (http://www.egosoft.com/support/faq/faq_answer_en.php?answer=610&version=8). Beware that the text limit in these forums could cut off most of the Diagnostic so you'll have to post multiple times.

ffdshow is actually one of the codecs that X3TC doesn't really like, so I can't recommend trying it. Additional info (http://forum.egosoft.com/viewtopic.php?t=217747). If you say that it did solve your problem with X3TC, I'll be interested to know why.

That was the topic i was looking for, i remember doing something to ffdshow, thought i installed it, guess not :p
