Hi there,
Recently upgrade video card from an 8800GTX to a 260GTX. On the former, everything maxed plus AA @ 1920x1200. Upgraded card, uninstalled old one, installed fresh drivers, deleted source game configs. Put the same settings as before, including AA, but I get no AA in-game. tried a veriety of options (disabling HDR, different resolutions, putting simple reflections). Even tried forcing AA in the card control panel. No dice. Tried different drivers. The ones that came with the card on the CD. The 91.##, and the new ones, 97.45.
This only happens in the source games I've tried. TF2, HL2 (and episodes), L4D/L4D2 and Portal have all lost the ability to use AA. Not so with other games. Arkham Asylum, Fallout 3, Painkiller, Unreal Tournament, Stalker, Far Cry, all other games I've tried can still use AA. Whether in-game settings or forced through CP.
What gives?
260 GTX 896MB
4GB RAM
Core 2 Duo E6600
WinXP SP2
