Dirt 2 freezing upon exit

I just got this game and had no problems with it freezing upon exiting. As soon as I logged into Games for Windows, everytime I exit the game freezes and I have to use the task manager to get out of it. Any suggestions? I have Win 7 64 bit, i920, 6GB ram and Nvidia 275 as system specs.

Aye, for as ive owned windows, this problem comes and goes.
happens with different games at different times.

Ive seen this issue with half a dozen games.

Never really bothered tracking down the issue.

I just reinstall windows and my drivers,
That always fixes the "lockup upon exit" for me.

so my guess is that its windows corruption.

maybe reinstalling drivers would fix it.

but i just reinstall windows to insure max performance on everything.
