Just want to know, whats your favourite.

Red Alert Series

Tiberium Series

Generals Series (yes, there is going to be Generals 2 around this year :D)

I dont know any others lol.

My vote goes to Generals, nothing beats it's decent graphics and good gameplay.

Forgot to mention CHINA FTW. ~Overlord moving.

While Red Alert 2 is what drew me into the world of C&C, I'd have to say that I enjoyed Generals more than RA 2 (or RA 3).

The one with the zerg and protoss :P
I agree Generals was the most fun to play for longer, so it's a combo pack

I hated generals, thought it was atrocious.

Red Alert was the best.

I don't know... I like all of the games included in the first decade pack. RA2 was the first I played and I became a fan of the franchise... until EA f*ck with everithing in C&C4.

Red Alert 2 on the PSX got me in to the C&C franchise. I honest to God LOVE RA3 the most. I am such a huge fan of George Takai and Tim Curry! It's so much more refined than any other C&C when you take out the nostalgia factor. I've never touched RA1 or C&C 1 through 3 (only played one hour of 3). Generals runs like complete crap and wasn't much fun and I refuse to even acknowledge 4. I'm really interested in seeing a RA4 that isn't botched to high hell like 4 *crosses fingers*!!

RA3 was one of the best games i played too. the imagination of all the units were just too funny to happen in real life, yet it was quite fun.

Generals still my favourite.

Hmm, hard question, I am choosing between Generals/zero hour and Tiberium sun/ Firestorm.

I think I will go with Generals, the gameplay, the unit comments the balance between sides, overal one of the best RTS I have ever played.

I do like Red Alert, all 3 and Command & Conquer 3 as well, heck I like all of the 2 franchises.
With the BIG exception of C&C 4, I won't even start about that game and I will pretend it is not a C&C just to not break the C&C spirit (although it is to late) :)

i would say, Red Alert, simply cos it got me into the Strategy style of gameplay, right from the first game, although, you can't beat a good round with nuke china xD

Haha, saturating the entire map with nukes is always fun, so Generals certainly scores a point for me there :P

Overall though, I think I'd have to go for Tiberian Sun & Firestorm as my favourite game. For series, I'd have to go in the Tiberium direction (excluding 4, and including RA. 3 can stay, 3 was fun to be around). Never particularly enjoyed RA2 that much, RA3 was pretty decent though.

Tiberium Wars

Much love, Kane.

C&C4.... doesn't exist.

I look at C&C4 the same way I look at EE3, they don't exist.

I loved both 'Command and Conquer' and 'Empire Earth' series.
Both seem to have never heard the phrase 'if it ain't broke...'

Even Supreme Commander 2 ended it for me. It's ok to do something new, but don't mess with the core of the game. At least Blizzard seems to understand this with Starcraft 2. Unlike a FPS, once a RTS goes off the rails it is almost impossible to get it back. Hopefully, they learned their lessons and will not mess up Generals 2.

There is so much that can be done in the RTS genre with today's PCs - cloud based computing, GPU based AI, voice synthesized alerts, physics, lost AI battles could be sent to the developer to be tweaked, player submitted AI code, etc.. The traditional RTS is far from dead!

Also, the persistent internet DRM for single player campaigns meant C&C4 was DOA even before seeing it.

Yuri's Revenge (RA2 addon) was the best in the entire series. The units were memorable, the balance was incredible, and the online battles were some of the craziest, more epic I have ever had.

Side note: The problem was ultimately the game engine was only so fast.. so even with faster and faster computers the game didn't run any better during large battles.

The ranking goes like this for me:

1. Red Alert 2/Yuri's Revenge
2. Red Alert
3. Red Alert 3
3. C&C3
4. Command and Conquer 1
5. C&C Renegade
6. C&C Tiberian Sun/Firestorm
7. Generals
8. Kane's Wrath
9. Obviously, C&C4

As you can see, I love RA. I like things that look like or at least relate to real-world units or history, and although RA3 didn't do that quite as much, I still enjoyed it. It's all about art design for me. Generals was crap to me and it had no storyline and no overlord map and so that's why it got such a low ranking.

Also let's not forget about Dune 2000, that was an awesome game, although not bearing the "C&C" name, still made by Westwood Studios.

1. Red Alert
2. C&C Tiberium Sun/Firestorm
3. Red Alert 2 / Yuris revenge
4. C&C
4. C&C Renegade (seriously, it was a nice fresh angle on FPS, one that hasnt been repeated, and is a goldmine waiting for somebody else to try imo)
5. C&C Generals
6. C&C 3

Wont even bother with the others, red alert 3 and C&C 4 were just scrapings from the bottom of the barrel in an attempt to make more money.

Red Alert by far. The stereotypes portrayed for actual countries are much more funnier than the fictitious factions of Tiberium series. And nothing will ever win Yuriko Omega.

My favourite game is Red Alert 2, followed by generals and the original C&C. I don't have a favourite series.

I have the entire series except for C&C4. I really like Generals with Zero Hour, RA2 and Yuri's Revenge (before EA bought out Westwood) and C&C3 TW & KW. I was disappointed in RA3 and won't be buying Uprising since there is NO multiplayer support for Uprising. I've been hearing for sometime that EA may be going back to making another Generals after C&C4.

Red Alert 1 and 2 + expansion were (and still are) my favorite games, before all the weird ♥♥♥♥ like: "let's replace ore fields with ore mines" or let's remove building bases and use a $#%@#$%@#% crawler and infinite resources so people can SPAM tanks.

(and yes i have been boycotting C&C4 since before the release)
P.S. personally i think that anyone who thinks C&C 4 is a "real" C&C game needs to get their brains examined :P
C&C = NO C&C without base building and resource management!!!
