View Full Version : Sword reforging

Once I've reforged a sword, can I then reforge it again into something else? Or will I have to find another, normal, witcher's sword? So like I've reforged my sword into a Blue Meteorite sword. Once I've found three red meteorites, can I reforge my Blue Meteorite sword into a Red Meteorite sword? Or will I have to use a plain sword for that?

Once I've found three red meteorites, can I reforge my Blue Meteorite sword into a Red Meteorite sword? You can, but you don't really need it (http://witcher.wikia.com/wiki/Meteorite_swords#Notes).You cannot use ore to upgrade the stats of an existing sword, it always takes three pieces of ore for this transaction and a new sword is "created". It may not appear this way because existing meteorite swords in Geralt's inventory would be replaced, but stored swords are unaffected. Basically, if you want to collect meteorite swords, simply store any existing swords at an inn prior to the transaction with the blacksmith.
