"Invalid Call" error when starting MW2 -MP

Alright. I'll click "Play" on the Library window, and the MW2 splash-screen comes up, the screen goes black, then it suddenly closes down and I get an error window with the following:

Any fixes for this? I really want to try out MW2 before I invest a massive chunk of cash to buy the game. It looks like something I would enjoy playing, but if I can't even get it to start, then forget it. I'm willing to give this game a last chance in the form of this thread. If I can't find a fix, definately not going to buy MW2 sometime this october.

Also, the Verify Intergrity option comes up 100% clean, so idk wtf is going on.

1. Download driver sweeper from guru3d.com and install it.
2. Uninstall your current graphic card driver
3. Reboot to safe mode
4. launch driver sweeper and clean graphic card registries.
5. Restart windows
6. Install graphic card driver again.
