Anyone experience this problem and found a fix that hasn't been mentioned yet? I've tried every option available. Forcing DX9, deleting/modifying the workMap files, the incredibly long and tedious reinstall, etc etc.
Also, it sometimes does it at the Intel video instead of the AMD one. It doesn't always freeze either. :\
And, if it matters, my specs are an Intel i5 @ 2.4ghz, 4gb 1066 DDR3 RAM, and an ATI Radeon HD5650.
So I took a tip from that whole FreeTrack causing problems thing, uninstalled some useless programs, game's starting up more often now... haven't had it freeze yet, so hopefully I fixed it. The problem may just be certain background programs, though.
